What location is suitable for a hotel massage?

A private, comfortable location in which you can relax and enjoy the massage is very important in order for the treatment to be a success. A door that you can lock, curtains you can close and some relaxing music you can put on are a few basics that can help the client relax. It’s also important to have a comfortable room temperature.

What are the benefits of a massage treatment?

A massage treatment has proven to be very helpful in treating minor health issues. Muscle aches and tense muscles benefit greatly from a massage, but also stress related issues such as headaches, temporary insomnia and tense neck and shoulder muscles can be treated with a massage treatment. Clients will feel more flexible, relaxed, energized and healthy after a massage treatment.

What do I need to wear?

During a massage it is very important the masseuse is able to treat all areas you would like to have treated during the massage. It’s also very important you feel comfortable and at ease. Therefore it is very common a client strips down to their underwear or get completely naked and get covered up with towels. The massage therapist will remove the towel only from the area she is treating to make the client feel as comfortable as possible.

Will the massage therapist be in the room when I undress?

If your hotel room has a separate area in which the masseuse can wait until you are undressed and placed on the massage table she will leave you alone until you are ready to start the treatment. If such an area is not available she will turn her head and focus on the preparations until you are ready to start.

Can I talk during the massage treatment?

If you prefer to have a chat during the massage you are more than welcome to do so. But please keep in mind you booked a massage treatment and you are not obliged to talk to the masseuse during the treatment. Our experience tells us most people are able to relax and enjoy the treatment to the fullest when they are not focused on talking to the massage therapist. Please do tell the masseuse when you are experiencing pain, have a recent injury, want to check she is aware of any special needs or when you have a question. The masseuse is more than happy to accommodate your preferences and answer any questions.
